Rat-tat-too-ee
So what is Rat-tat-too-ee?!? (ang hirap kasi ispeling ng french word RATATOUILLE. Akala ko nga RA-TO-TU-LI ang bigkas e… hindi pala.. silent "L" fala sha.)
So Rat-tat-too-ee is not the rat… but the food known in France where tomato, potato, eggplant are key ingredients sauteed in olive oil. The RAT cook is REMY, the one in the picture above. Anyway, I want to invite you all to see this ANIMATION by PIXAR entertainment. FYI I don’t like cartoons all the time, only a few. I don’t like Shrek (Sorry to Shrek fans… I find it "pilit" and corny sometimes. Ayoko rin ng Toy Story. Lilo & Stich and Finding Nemo — okay lang saken).
But Rat-tat-too-ee??? The best!

It is about a garbage boy Linguini, who needs work and the gifted Remy helps him to get the job as the Chef in demand of the demised famed cook Gusteau’s Restaurant.
I hate our rats in the house. Sinira nila ang pintuan, they make holes, they eat our food, harghhhh… kabisado na nga nila ang mouse trap sa bahay e, kaya hindi mamatay matay yung isang malaking rat. If only they could turn out to be adorable and cuddly like EMIL who is REMY’s cute brother. (FYI: a small stuffed toy EMIL is 1K plus).
This rat reminds me of a psych batchmate also named "EMIL" who resembles some of the rat’s features (I mean no offense Mr. Emil Joven, incase you read this. Your vertically challenged figure is what makes you adorable actually).
I don’t want to be a spoiler so I won’t discuss the details further. I want to invite you all to see this movie in the BIG SCREEN. Its animation and emotion - filled cartoon of pixar. I chose to see this coz I like FOOD and I figured I might like this one… and I am glad I was RIGHT! I like the trailer but I learned as a moviegoer that "Thou shall not judge a movie by its trailer!" and as what a youngblood contributor wrote recently, "Thou shall not judge a movie by its poster" — but this movie is an exception to those rules. If trailers and posters are deceiving sometimes…. well with this movie, it is not the case. Take a peek:

My brother and cousin Clariz enjoyed the movie. I am glad my brother liked it coz he wanted to see Rush Hour. We enjoyed it so much we proceeded to the Italian resto Sbarro afterwards. Too bad Rat-tat-too-ee is not in their menu. But once I step in France in the future, I promise myself I will have a taste of this meal.

Relax guys. Have a break from work and school. Before you decide to see a movie, with Simpsons and Rush Hour as your options, don’t forget to include Rat-tat-too-ee. You won’t regret. I promise.
