Rep’s Tuesdays with Morrie
FROM MY MULTIPLY that I am sharing here:
| Rep’s Tuesdays with Morrie | Jan 27, ‘08 1:37 PM for everyone |

Allow me before I sleep to say a thing or two about this play based on Mitch Albom’s best-selling novel.
Outstanding.
Spectacular.
Made me cry. Made us all cry.
Bart Guingona as Mitch was good but was upstaged by Mr. Jose Mari Avellana as Morrie Schwartz. A brilliant actor!
"To be not in love is better than being in love. To be in love is being free from pain, free from falling!" - Mitch
"Falling… Loving! Falling… Loving! It is the Loving that is the point!" - Morrie
I
don’t recall those lines from the book, but stroke a chord in me while
watching this play. Hmmm makes me to think of loving again? Soon or not
too soon… but I will.. I hope I will. Despite the falling.
Btw, the play had a 98 percent standing ovation - in Philippine theater.

The Wedding of all Weddings!
Tararan! Now here is…………………………the Pimentel-Agapay Wedding of our good friend,
the bride Kristine Agapay-Pimentel.
Congratulations
to the both of you!!! I, my family and your friends from Ilocos are
very happy for you Tin, and proud of what you have become (no joke).
This
is the best wedding I have attended after many years. I was a secondary
sponsor and my mom was a ninang. My entire family was invited but my
siblings have work and schoolwork so it was just the three of us (with
Dad). I was with Tricia Domingo (sole batchmate from Ilocos who
attended) whom I met at the salon. Other Ilocanos who attended were the
Agapays and my relatives Dr. Castor and Miramar Bumanglag of Batac (the
latter being a fellow ninang of my mom).
The wedding mass was at the Christ The King Parish followed by the reception at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club.
I
was controlling my tears while Kristine was walking down the aisle, and
the bride was with tears of joy as she met John Patrick Pimentel at the
altar. The bride’s gown is the most beautiful (talbog sila Charlene
Gonzales at Lea Salonga sa mga kasal nila) and our gowns were simple
and elegantly made by Carla Guiao. I was wearing long gown in fuchsia
and tangerine motiff while Tricia was in her sexy halter na
napagkamalang ninang sa ganda
(peace Tricia).
Enjoy viewing so we could get all an idea of how to have a WEDDING OF WEDDINGS :). Click here for the pictures.
Again
JP and Kristine, Congratulations!!! We love you and Kyle
.Just put
God at the center of your marriage (naks! parang akala mo naman kinasal
na ako… hahaha
)… at sana masundan din namin kayo. Hahahaha!

My Post-Birthday Lunch
On my
birthday last Jan. 10, I went to attend class from 6-9pm for a sit-in
(grabe noh, pumasok pa talaga ako) though I didn’t officially have class, just to
refresh myself on the subject. I didn’t have plans (but I was
surprised with a birthday cake and a dozen roses — which is not much
of a surprise as it happens every year…
) because my mom and dad are in the province and they will arrive on Jan 13.
So my
birthday lunch was scheduled yesterday (Jan 13) at Mandarin Cafe Deli
at their Gateway branch. I was a little disappointed because the Ala
Carte in Mandarin Oriental is much better… but it was okay. Atleast
I got to spend it with my family (sans Bads who is in New York), went
shopping and saw National Treasure afterwards.
It was a fun day.
Dios ti Aggina (Thank you in Ilocano).
