It has been my nth time to dine here at Inyo Cuisine (I’ve dined here twice with my dad, once with my mom, twice with Dianne B, and once on father’s day)., along Xavierville Katipunan, and it is my favorite resto in QC area to date.
However, I always forget to bring my camera every time I dine here. But yesterday, two of my good friends from college (psych batch), Tin and Anne brought their digital cams. Thank God for these friends

Tin Guevara, is a UST medical student. She has been my spiritual adviser for years now. A former leader of YFC Central A, San Juan Area. She is a big girl, with a big heart (ehmmmm and also with the biggest plate, look at the pictures below).

Anne Mondala, is a gradeschool teacher in Ontario Canada. She just finished
her second degree in Canada too. Also a former leader of YFC in fairview area. She migrated with her family after we graduated from college.
When I met with these two girls, we had planned to dine-out (which is our good old habit, that is to eat at food places in and around UP Diliman but Inyo Cusine wasn’t around then). Since they haven’t visited UP for a long time, I thought of bringing them to Inyo Cuisine, a fusion of food dishes (American, Filipino, Jap etc.) that the owner-chef concocted himself.
On my first visit here with my dad, the owner-chef told us that he didn’t study in a culinary school abroad BUT he was trained in various hotels here in Manila. Meaning, you don’t have to study culinary abroad to make good food as long as you have the magic touch of cooking. I was very impressed. My first visit at Inyo wasn’t surely my last.
I like all the food here (Except for the lamb dish. Ironically it is the most expensive dish. Though I am a meat eater, I highly do not recommend it. I have seen people ordering this dish and by just looking at their faces, they do not enjoy it as I do. The meat is hard and lacks taste.).
I had tasted 60 percent in their menu (I think) … So when I brought my two friends here, I recommended my favorites in their menu:
U.S. Hanging Tender Steak (5 stars)
Honey Glazed Salmon (5 stars)
Pumpkin Soup (5 stars)
Raspberry Vinaigrette (5 stars)
Clam Pasta (4 stars, I not being a pasta lover. But if you check Tin’s site, it was her favorite among all those we ordered).
After our scrumptious lunch is our trip to Trinoma and saw the corny but kilig (if not because of John Lloyd) movie A Very Special Love. Isawan and Kwek-Kwek and Fishballs afterwards. What a fun day!
Thank you guys! :)… Let’s do this WAN MOR TAYM

I want to share a video that has inspired millions of people. It is about Dr. Randy Paush, a professor who passed away last July 25, 2008 due to pancreatic cancer leaving his wife and 3 young kids. For a background of him:

He is considered by TIME as one of the most influential people. But before he passed away he gave the most important and best lecture in his life. For a summarized version featured in OPRAH (suggested to those who are busy):
