The Latest Friendster Blog Beta 2.0
I am one of the chosen few to experience Friendster Beta 2.0, which will be officially available on September 10. Here is the email I received from the management:
Hello Naomi,
Thank you for your interest in taking a sneak peek at our All-New Blogs 2.0 and for moving your blog early.
Before you get started there are a few things you should know.
• All Friendster blogs will be moved to the new platform in the near future, by participating in this early invite, you have the opportunity to have your blog moved first and try the new product before others.
• Once your blog is moved to the All - New Blogs 2.0 it cannot be switched back.
• After you move your blog it is likely that your blog layout and colors may not appear exactly as they are today. Once your blog has been moved you can update these by clicking the “Designs” tab.
• All of the photos you’ve uploaded to your current blog will be moved to your new blog next week, so don’t worry if you don’t see them until then! We’ll move them over for you!
• You may experience some inconsistencies or “bugs” during this early invite period, please bear with us and please do let us know what you find so we can build a better product!
• If you’re ready to move your current blog to our All-new Blogs 2.0 click: http://www.friendster.com/blogs.php?action=migrate
(Please click the URL only once, otherwise you could end up with duplicate posts. Larger blogs may time out. If this happens, please try again.)
• After you click the link, please allow up to 30 -60 seconds before your current blog is migrated to Friendster Blogs 2.0 Beta
(Larger blogs will take more time, however if the page times out, please try again).
• If you have questions or want to share your Friendster Blogs 2.0 experience, join the Friendster Blogs 2.0 group at: http://www.friendster.com/group/tabmain.php?gid=1982276 (Make sure you click the “Join” button).
Again, thank you for taking a sneak peek of our All - New Blogs 2.0, we’re excited to have you part of this unique opportunity and please contact us should you have any questions or issues.
Thanks,
The Friendster (Blog) Team
So if ever you notice the new look of my friendster blog, this is the reason why. There are few inconsistencies and glitches still but they mentioned in the email that it will automatically be fixed later as it is still on the trial stage. Meanwhile, my old friendster blog is still available on this link: http://naomicorpuz.blogs.friendster.com/my_blog/
Thanks for reading and for supporting my friendster blog by being one of my readers (avid or not). God Bless you ‘all!!!
